Energi.AI signs new Director of Sustainability & Strategy

We are thrilled to announce that Rebecca Karason, an accomplished sustainability leader, is joining Energi.ai as our Director of Sustainability and Strategy. With her deep expertise and passion for environmental progress, Rebecca is set to elevate Energi.ai’s mission of driving the transition to a net-zero future.
Rebecca’s track record speaks for itself. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Environmental Strategy & Sustainability Director at Huntington National Bank, where she spearheaded environmental sustainability initiatives across an eleven-state footprint. Her leadership was key in establishing Huntington’s first-ever Green Team, driving the organization’s sustainability agenda forward with innovative strategies and practical solutions.
With more than fifteen years of experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, sales, and decarbonization strategies, Rebecca has consistently delivered impactful results. Her career has spanned pivotal roles at major organizations such as DNV GL and CLEAResult, where she managed energy efficiency programs and supported clients in reducing their carbon footprints. Rebecca’s hands-on approach to sustainability and her ability to foster strong relationships will be invaluable as Energi.ai continues to grow its impact on the global stage.

Rebecca’s academic credentials further underscore her expertise. She holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and is a certified energy manager. Her influence extends into the broader sustainability community, where she serves on the boards of the Ohio Environmental Council, the Columbus chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers, and Equitas Health.
